Arnault wants Belgian nationality: report

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Bernard Arnault, the richest man in France, and CEO of Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, looking for Belgian citizenship, a move, as the president prepares François Hollande move comes forward with a controversial tax on the richest citizens of the country, The Wall Street Journal reported Saturday. Arnault LVMH confirmed the request in a statement, said the billionaire would a taxpayer in France, told the magazine. "The potential changes for the granting of dual French and Belgian nationality nothing about this situation, yet his determination, the development of LVMH and the associated job creation in France will follow," the company said, according to the Journal. Arnault application was first reported in the Belgian daily La Libre Belgique on Saturday.
