Vintage Fashion CWA Byaduk


       The Byaduk branch of the Association of women in rural areas has only seven members, but managed to achieve many things and give back to their local community through the funds they raise each year.

One of their main fundraising event is coming this weekend and a large collection of vintage clothing CWA member Coral Shepherd have.

As Coral says this year's theme is girls just wanna have fun lift, so expect vintage clothing on "Race wear, party wear, work clothes, all the things to see women make during the day and the clothes that they wear."

Coral began an interest in fashion thanks to his grandmother a few years ago, and has a particular fondness for hats, "I love hats. - I think they are a beautiful work of art"

Most of his acquisitions came from op shops and online auctions.

The concept of a vintage fashion show began last year and was a huge success this year, the group will hold the exhibition in two days instead of one.

Coral Burland is the secretary of the Byaduk CWA, and is eager to emphasize. "We are known for our fine teas"

She adds that not be the models wearing clothes, in part because "our size has increased dramatically"

The Byaduk CWA is always looking for new members, as president Margaret Ball they said on the third Tuesday of the month to take in an afternoon.

The exhibition is on this weekend one to four clock on Saturday and Sunday at the two Byaduk room.

Tea will be served on Saturday and Sunday is a tour only.
